Pastor Stephen Rhoda

Steve and his wife Mary have been serving the church for 20+ years of Gospel ministry.  Starting in the Chicago southwest suburbs in 1996 and following a path through Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois, they now return to Indiana to serve Terre Haute Reformed Presbyterian Church (RPCNA).  They have three children, Jacob and Philip, both students at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, and Abigail still at home as a homeschooled junior in high school.

Mary, as a homeschooling mother and with a passion for education, has taught school at Lafayette Christian School, Lafayette, Indiana; and at Timothy Christian School, Elmhurst, Illinois; and has served higher education while teaching at Trinity Christian College, Palos Heights, Illinois; and Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa.  She now continues to teach at home and to serve the ministry at Terre Haute RPC.

Steve is a graduate of Lafayette Christian School; Lafayette Jefferson High School; Purdue University, West Lafayette; and Calvin Theological Seminary.  Coming back to Indiana is a dream come true for him as he and Mary live now in Terre Haute and continue to serve Christ and His kingdom here.  Steve also serves as Director of Ministry for Ephphatha Reformation Ministries, Inc. (www.EphRefMin.org), a non-profit ministry seeking to encourage faithful Christian parenting and to publish and promote personal and family devotional materials, including catechism materials for use in the Reformed Christian home.
